Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County offers volunteer opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building.   We have both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities available to you. You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others. On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities but the only way you can help. We are also looking for help at our new ReStore location, where we sell new and used building materials. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level. All volunteers on must be at least 16 years of age or older. We will work rain or shine!

To become a volunteer:
 

In Person Registration & HabiTalk Orientation —
We hold an in-person orientation or Habitalk once per month. Please check our online calendar for dates, time & location for the in-person orientation.

If you have a group of volunteers, email the Volunteer Coordinator and we can arrange to have the group attend a "Habitalk" orientation or we can come to your location for an in-person group orientation.

We use the information you provide in the Registration & Orientation to help you determine where your skill would best help us, or to provide you with information on available volunteer opportunities so you can choose where you would like to help out.
