As long time supporter and volunteer Bill Shea pulls in to our office parking lot for his weekly visits, the “WRK 4 HFH” license plate adorning his new red Chevy Impala only scratches the surface of his commitment to Habitat for Humanity. Bill has exemplified an unprecedented spirit of charity towards our organization for many years, expecting only friendship as compensation for his efforts.

Bill first became involved with Habitat through the Greater San Francisco affiliate as a volunteer. Upon moving to Sonoma County, he sought us out and has since adopted us as we have him into the HFH of Sonoma County family. Bill’s regular donations provide stable funding for our work, and he stops by often to make sure his money is being used wisely and that our staff, “isn’t playing computer games” as he likes to say.

As Bill approaches his 59th birthday in April, we want to wish him Happy Birthday and thank him for all his support. Bill is an example of what steadfast support means, and his selflessness is a testament to the character of Habitat.
