Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County's Staff and Board Members are proud to annouce we are moving forward with our Healdsburg project. We began to build on November 19, 2009. We are building two houses at 513 University Street, Healdsburg, Ca [mapquest] for two low-income families in need.

Althought the rain slowed us down this winter, we have been able to push forward and get the framing started.

The Build Resumes!!!

Week of June 28, 2010

We are moving forward with the build and have started framing the South lot's house. We have framed the first floor and will be moving on to the second story this week.

On the North lot, we have just finishes the plumbing and sheet metal work. A big THANK YOU to Moore Heating and Air Conditioning for donating his time to help us. We will be working on insulating under the house and putting the sub floor on as the week progressses.

Week of July 14, 2010

Progress continues on the build!!

On the South lot we have shethed the whole house and trusses were delivered and set on top of the house for the roof.

On the North lot we are starting to frame the first floor.

I would like to thank all our wonderful volunteers for coming out. We couldn't build these homes without you.

As the build continue, we are looking for some professionals to help out in the following areas:
Plumbers, and Drywallers.
We are also looking for the following donations of materials:
Windows, doors, cabinets, carpet, tile, funaces, on demand hot water heaters
In turn for your generous donations, I would be happy to advertise for you on our web site and on the build site.
