Jobsite Foreperson P/T
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Must have at least some foundation layout and set up experience
• Must have good people/communication skills, ability to work with/train volunteers and partner family members effectively
• Must have extensive framing experience (joist, frame, truss, stairs, sheer panel, siding, etc.)
• Must have an understanding of all safety procedures
• Must be able to work with scheduled subcontractors
• Must be knowledgeable in interior finish/trim work, i.e. be able to set cabinets, doors, install trim
• Must be supportive of HFH of So Co’s Green Build program

Vista Volunteer - AmeriCorps*VISTA Project Plan
Goal:
Increasing the capacity of affiliates to build houses in partnership with families in need
Faith Relations - Service Activities:
Develop partnerships with congregations and other faith-based organizations to generate funds and recruit volunteers for Habitat projects and meet the Habitat for Humanity International faith relations Standards of Excellence.
Outputs:
New faith-based partnerships are identified
Promotional materials are developed (Performance Measurement)
Indicator:number and kinds of material
Target:One brochure, one flyer, one bulletin insert and one PowerPoint presentation
Instrument: printout of materials
Develop, organize in conjunction with Construction Team an Abraham Build
Speakers’ bureau is developed to address faith-based groups
Database and system for tracking partnerships is developed
“Building on Faith” week is promoted, events planned, and faith partners are invited to take part
Project is identified and developed to involve youth groups from local congregations as well as Youth United, Campus Chapters and Youth Programs (CCYP), and other HFHI youth initiatives
Communications is established to inform faith-based groups of opportunities for involvement
Faith-based program is coordinated with Resource Development and Volunteer Management
Intermediate Outcomes:
New partnerships with faith-based organizations and congregations are formed (Performance Measurement)
Indicator: percent increase in number of faith groups pledging support
Target: 10% increase in new faith groups, churches, congregations and/or youth groups
Instrument: pledge form or letter
Materials are developed and a volunteer speakers’ bureau established to speak to congregations
Database is completed and faith groups’ involvement tracked
Youth embark on a fundraising project to help build a home
“Building on Faith” week is observed with a house-build event and celebration
Faith-based newsletter is established
End outcomes:
Increased number of faith groups involved in Habitat for Humanity (Performance Measure)
Indicator: percent increase in number of churches and congregations making a commitment to work with Habitat on home building either by volunteers or financial support
Target:10% increase in churches and/or congregations and faith groups
Instrument: database and commitment documents
Increased funding by faith groups for home building
Increased involvement of youth groups with home building
Faith Relations is integrated into the culture of the affiliate and embraced by the Board of Directors through a permanent Faith Relations Committee
