We have heard if you think big, big things will happen, so here are two "Big Ticket" items:

  *  $2 million Endowment - We are exploring ways to create a sustaining endowment for our Habitat for Humanity affiliate that will provide basic operations funds for administrative support, allowing all donations be applied directly to our build projects. Raising money for operations expenses are time and labor intensive for our staff and takes away from our focus on building affordable housing. A sustainable endowment would provide funds for basic day-to-day affiliate expenses.   *  Warehouse/Office Space for ReStore and Affiliate - With the impending growth of our affiliate to begin building in Healdsburg, Cotati, Sebastopol and at Children's Village, and with the incredible success of our ReStore,we have outgrown our current space. We are seeking sufficient, affordable commercial space to accommodate all of our support services and an expanded ReStore under one roof. The ReStore program is becoming so successful, but so limited in space, it has had to refuse donated items for lack of storage and retail space. Discussions with other affiliates with established ReStore operations (Sacramento, Austin TX, etc.) reveals that ReStore profits could fund all support services within the affiliate and may make the need for the endowment above superfluous. We currently need a Digital Projector  that can be hooked up to a computer to project images for presentations, Habitalks, and various fundraising and recruitment activities. Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County currently needs the following items to help on our build sites. Tools get old and our worksites are expanding, so we anticipate a great need for these items.

• table saw and stand
• compound miter chop saw and stand
• 3 or 4 new Magnesium, worm drive circular skill saws
• box of 25 Marathon skill saw blades, carbide-tipped
• Several 25' measuring tapes
• Several framing/finish hammers
• 2 - 4' and 2 - 6' fiberglass ladders
• Laser level and transit set

• Directly donate an item — You can purchase an item(s) from the supplier of your choice for delivery to Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County, or if you have a good working condition used item, please drop by the ReStore or our offices during our working hours.
   
• Let us purchase an item for you  using one of these options:

  2. Print our donation form, indicate the item you wish to be purchased, mail with a check to our office, or fax it to the office with your credit card information.
