Join hundreds of people who have watched daily progress of the "Builder's Blitz", a home built in 4 days by Christopherson Homes and their outstanding Trade Partners in cooperation with Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County and the Housing Land Trust of Sonoma County. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County, Christopherson Homes and their Trade Partners join hundreds of builders across the nation that are taking part in a national "Builder's Blitz". Local Habitat affiliates across the country are working with builders  to construct affordable housing for over 400 families in 5 days, from Monday June 5 to Friday June 9, 2006.

Since beginning on Monday at 7 am we have witnessed the house rise from the foundation as the teams of hard working, dedicated construction crews swarm over the site. The pace is quick but the build site is remarkably quiet, each worker moving methodically from one step to the next in a well choreographed play of construction efficiency. It is a wonder to behold and a tribute to the generosity and kindness of all those involved. The effort was so successful, they finished the home in only 4 days!
