Healdsburg Project Postponed due to Inclement Weather Due to the continuing winter deluge throughout Sonoma County, construction in Healdsburg has been postponed effective immediately. Work is scheduled to resume on March 3, 2010. The long cancellation is necessary to allow the lot to dry out and preserve the integrity of the existing site work. Attention: Calling all Golfaholics! How would you like to test your golfing endurance and help a worthy cause at the same time? We're looking for golfers to play 100 holes in 9 hours and the sponsors willing to support them. Are you up to the challenge? Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County (HFH-SC) needs your help. On April 30, 2010, we are enlisting 40 golfers to play 100 holes or more from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in our First Annual Habitat for Humanity Golf-A-Thon. We need to raise more than $100,000 in the process to support Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County. This will be our only tournament in 2010! CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (June 15-19, 2009)-- AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteers John Gentry and Cathy Metz journeyed to Cedar Rapids this month for the Annual Habitat for Humanity 2009 Build-a-Thon. They joined hundreds of other Habitat AmeriCorps volunteers from across the Country to close in 20 homes in one week.
